Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AI devotee and its websites, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service includes a curated AI and creator‑tools directory (listings, categories, search, and links to third‑party sites), on‑site tutorials and guides, tool information and comparison features, optional accounts with local favorites and cloud‑synced favorites, and paid plans described on our Pricing page. By creating an account, signing in, purchasing a subscription or paid product, submitting a link or review, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service; no endorsement

The Service provides informational listings, categories, search, tutorials, and shortcuts to external sites. Tool descriptions, pricing, features, and availability may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate because third‑party products change frequently. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for third‑party content, availability, security, privacy practices, or licensing. You access external sites at your own risk and should review each site’s own terms and policies.

Advertising and measurement. We may use third‑party technologies (including Google Analytics, Google Signals, and services used with Google Ads) to measure traffic, improve the Service, and deliver or personalize advertising as described in our Privacy Policy (especially Sections 6–8). Those partners process information under their own policies and settings in addition to ours. For information on how to opt out of interest‑based advertising, see the opt‑out options described in Sections 6–8 of our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and accounts

Age requirements. The Service is not directed to children below the minimum eligible age in their jurisdiction. The minimum age varies by region:

  • United States and most other countries: 13 years old.
  • European Economic Area (EEA) member states that have set a higher age: up to 16 years old.
  • Brazil (LGPD): users under 18 require verifiable parental or guardian consent.
  • Other jurisdictions: the age at which you may lawfully consent to our Terms and data practices under applicable local law.

If you are at or above the minimum age for your jurisdiction but below the age of majority, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Children’s Privacy Policy on your behalf. If you are creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Account accuracy and security. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account unless you notify us promptly of unauthorized use at contact@aidevotee.com or via the contact method shown in the site footer.

Suspension and termination. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the Service or other users.

Data practices. Personal data connected to your account (including cloud‑synced favorites and subscription status where applicable) is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Paid plans, subscriptions, fees, and payment processing

The following reflects our public Pricing page. Updates to these Terms are indicated by the date shown at the top of this page when we publish revisions. Exact amounts, currency, and checkout text are confirmed at Creem checkout; if checkout conflicts with this page, the checkout page and receipt prevail for that transaction unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.

Free tier. The Free tier is offered at no charge and does not require payment. Feature limits (for example cloud sync caps) are described on the Pricing page.

Starter (monthly subscription). USD $5 per month, billed as a recurring subscription that automatically renews each month until you cancel. Cancelling stops future charges; the current billing period continues through its end unless mandatory consumer law or these Terms provide otherwise.

Pro (annual subscription). USD $29 per year (approximately USD $2.42 per month when billed annually), as a recurring subscription that automatically renews each year until you cancel.

Lifetime (one‑time purchase). USD $89 as a one‑time, non‑renewing payment for a lifetime entitlement, subject to these Terms and the continued operation of the Service. No automatic rebilling applies after the initial purchase. See Lifetime plan continuity below for important information about what happens if the Service is discontinued.

Payment processing via Creem. Payments and subscriptions are processed by Creem (and its affiliates and payment partners) as a third‑party payment and subscription platform. When you pay, you may complete checkout on Creem‑hosted flows or embedded components subject to Creem’s Terms of Service and Creem’s Privacy Policy. We are not your bank or card issuer; we do not receive or store your full payment card number on our own infrastructure — such data is handled by Creem and its processors.

Authorization and automatic renewal. For Starter and Pro, by subscribing you authorize Creem (and applicable payment networks) to charge your payment method automatically on each renewal date until you cancel through our billing controls and/or Creem’s customer portal or links in your receipt, as applicable. Failed payments may result in retries, grace periods, suspension of paid features, or termination of the subscription as configured by Creem and/or our Service.

Taxes. Fees may be quoted exclusive or inclusive of taxes depending on your location and Creem’s configuration. Sales, VAT, GST, or similar taxes may be added at checkout where required.

How to cancel. You may cancel Starter or Pro at any time using either of the following methods:

  1. Sign in to your account and navigate to Account → Billing → Cancel subscription; or
  2. Use the cancellation link in your Creem receipt or confirmation email, which takes you to Creem’s customer portal.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not by itself entitle you to a refund of fees already charged for the current period, except as set out under Refunds below or as required by mandatory consumer law.

Refunds — 14‑day money‑back guarantee. We offer a 14‑calendar‑day money‑back guarantee on qualifying initial purchases of Starter (monthly subscription), Pro (annual subscription), and Lifetime (one‑time purchase). If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 14 days and we will process a full refund. Refunds are subject to reasonable fraud‑prevention verification and processing timelines through Creem where applicable; however, we aim to make the process as straightforward as possible.

To request a refund: email contact@aidevotee.com within 14 calendar days of the initial charge for that plan, from the email address used at checkout (or describe the transaction sufficiently for us to identify it).

Important: The 14‑day guarantee applies only to the first (initial) charge for each plan. Renewal charges — for example, your second month of Starter or your second year of Pro — are not covered by this guarantee unless required by mandatory consumer law. After the 14‑day window has passed, fees are non‑refundable except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

Billing errors. If you believe a charge is duplicate or incorrect, contact contact@aidevotee.com first; we may direct you to Creem support for payment‑instrument or receipt issues.

Chargebacks and abuse. You agree not to initiate illegitimate chargebacks or payment disputes. We may suspend access for accounts associated with payment fraud or abuse.

Entitlements. Access to paid features depends on successful payment and active subscription or purchase status as reported by Creem (and our integration). Delays or errors in reporting may occasionally affect access; we will work in good faith to correct integration issues.

Lifetime plan continuity. The Lifetime plan provides access to paid features for as long as the Service remains operational. As an individual developer, we cannot guarantee indefinite operation. In the event that we decide to permanently discontinue the Service, we will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice to Lifetime plan holders via email (to the address registered with your account). We will make reasonable commercial efforts to provide a pro‑rated refund or other fair remedy to Lifetime holders at that time, taking into account how long the Service has been available since your purchase, subject to applicable law. Temporary outages, feature changes, or discontinuation of individual features do not constitute discontinuation of the Service.

4. User submissions

Where the Service allows you to suggest tools, URLs, titles, descriptions, votes, or comments (“Submissions”):

  • You grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute your Submissions in connection with operating and promoting the directory.
  • You represent that you have the rights to grant that license and that your Submissions do not violate applicable law or third‑party rights.
  • We may moderate, edit, decline, reorder, or remove listings or Submissions for quality, legal compliance, or abuse prevention, without any obligation to host any particular link.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • (a) misuse or disrupt the Service (including scraping or excessive automated access contrary to our policies);
  • (b) upload malware or attempt unauthorized access;
  • (c) harass others or post unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content;
  • (d) use the Service to spam or send unsolicited bulk communications; or
  • (e) circumvent security measures (including bot‑mitigation checks such as Cloudflare Turnstile where we deploy them).

6. Intellectual property

The Service’s branding, layout, compiled directory data, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws except where noted. Third‑party trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners; directory listings may display names or icons only for identification, and not as endorsement.

If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, you may send a written notice to contact@aidevotee.com containing all of the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including its URL or location on the Service;
  • Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address);
  • A statement that you have a good‑faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on their behalf.

We may remove or disable access to disputed material when appropriate. Repeat infringers may have their access terminated.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR‑FREE, OR THAT LISTINGS, COMPARISONS, OR TUTORIALS ARE COMPLETE, CURRENT, ACCURATE, OR SAFE.

The Service relies on third‑party infrastructure and software (for example hosting, databases, email delivery, security, payments and subscriptions (Creem), analytics, and advertising/measurement providers such as Google). Outages, misconfigurations, policy changes, or product changes by those providers may affect availability, billing, analytics accuracy, or ad delivery. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it, except as otherwise required by mandatory consumer law.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OR EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION, OR ANY LIABILITY THAT MANDATORY CONSUMER LAW IN YOUR JURISDICTION DOES NOT PERMIT TO BE LIMITED.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, except where mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR, subject to any mandatory local consumer dispute rights you may have.

Informal resolution first. Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at contact@aidevotee.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here with an updated date at the top. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice (for example by email to registered users or a prominent notice on the Service) where required by applicable law. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
